Specialized roles
One editor reviews footage and selects clips. Two cut shorts. Two handle animation. One designs thumbnails.
Case study
Production work, shown for quality. Not a podcast result.
A business with 40+ client accounts. We have run its content production for two and a half years.
VizualZ Media runs the content operation behind Wojo Media: guest podcast appearances, event footage, and vertical talking-head clips come in raw. Selection, editing, captions and delivery are ours from there. Jason records and hands off the file. That's the extent of his week on it.
Results
For context, not a claimed result: some of that growth is the content. Some of it is two and a half years of Wojo appearing as a guest on other platforms. The two aren't separated here.
The challenge
High volume of raw recording every week: guest podcast spots, event footage, vertical clips, across 40+ client accounts.
A rotating bench of freelance editors was unreliable: late deliveries, no straight answers.
Constant hiring and firing, with no guarantee the next hire would be any better.
No single partner who understood the whole pipeline.
Objectives
Our strategy
One editor reviews footage and selects clips. Two cut shorts. Two handle animation. One designs thumbnails.
A repeatable process for pulling the three to five moments worth cutting from every raw recording.
Jason records and sends the file. Nothing else touches his calendar.
Every deliverable is checked against the brief before it ships, without adding Jason's own editing hours.
In Jason's words
“I didn't have to worry about who's going to handle all this workload. I was able to focus more on other aspects of my business.”
